@skaped is an East London community-led artivist c @skaped is an East London community-led artivist charity encouraging young people to engage with identity, intersectionality, community building and social change through creative art programmes and workshops. Skaped needed a new refreshed look for their website that is designed with young people in mind, concisely communicating their offerings to them. It’s been an honour to work with inspiring chari It’s been an honour to work with inspiring charity @skaped on their website refresh. Skaped, is an East London community-led Artivist organisation, founded by two young migrant women, wanting to use their lived experience to empower young people to create change. Since 2017, they’ve been encouraging young people to engage with community building and social change through relatable creative workshops, educational programmes and art projects. Sparking conversations surrounding societal change, gender equality, gentrification, self-care, migration, anti-discrimination, and the like. If we haven’t met before hi, I’m Sam, a freelance brand and website designer running my own creative studio based in South London, but serve businesses nationwide. I’ve been a graphic designer for over 8 years working within a variety of industries including the natural, holistic product space and their e-commerce websites. When doing projects, I particularly enjoy the offline aspect of drawing freehand in my sketchbook actively thinking on a brief before moving onto digital development. Beyond the realm of design, I’m a Virgo and INFJ; deeply moved by minimalism, nature, yoga and Scandinavian interiors. In my spare time, I’ll attend open mics, art classes, read self-development books, strength train and take nature walks, living slowly. Here I am, in all of my humanness.
